From founding in 1996 to becoming Korea's leading waste-to-energy association

Founding General Assembly of the Korea Incineration Technology Association held.
1997.01
Secretariat opened in Yeouido, Seoul.

Technology Workshop series launched — biannual flagship event (ongoing).

Formally incorporated as a nonprofit organization under the Ministry of Environment.
